The official website and Twitter account for the TV anime adaptation of Miki Yoshikawa's A Couple of Cuckoos manga has announced that the series is air a one-hour final episode special program on October 1, where episodes 23 and 24 will be aired in succession.
The opening theme song for the second cour titled, "glitter" is performed by sumika.
Hiroaki Akagi is the chief director of the anime and Yoshiyuki Shirahata is directing the anime at Shin-Ei Animation and Synergy SP. Yasuhiro Nakanishi is overseeing the series scripts, and Aya Takano is designing the characters.
The ending theme song titled, "Shikaku Unmei" (Square Destiny) is performed by Sangatsu no Phantasia.
The anime premiered on April 23, 2022 on the NUMAnimation programming block on TV Asahi. It's running for two consecutive cours. The anime's second cour premiered on July 23, 2022.
