The official website and Twitter account for the TV anime adaptation of Shō Harusono's Sasaki to Miyano manga has announced that the series is getting an anime film titled Sasaki to Miyano: Sotsugyo-hen (Graduation Arc) that is set to premiere in Japan in 2023.
An anime short adaptation of Shō Harusono's Hirano and Kagiura spinoff manga will also be screened alongside the film.
The main staff at Studio DEEN who produced the TV anime will be returning for the film and spin-off episode.
The main cast from the TV anime will also be returning, along with Nobunaga Shimazaki as Akira Kagiura.
Sasaki and Miyano premiered on January 9, 2022 on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, and Sun TV. Then on BS NTV on January 10, and on AT-X on January 11. Then on U-NEXT on January 9.
Miracle Chimpanzee performed the opening theme song titled, "Mabataki" (Blink).
Yūsuke Shirai (Shūmei Sasaki) and Sōma Saitō (Yoshikazu Miyano) performed the ending character theme song "Ichigo Sunset" (Strawberry Sunset) as their respective characters.
The cast of the manga's CD drama reprised their roles in the anime.

The 13th episode OVA is titled "A Little Story Before Noticing Love," which follows the Disciplinary Committee as they form "The First Lost Property Detective Team" at Hanzawa's suggestion and search for a student's missing keychain. It was bundled with the manga's 9th volume on July 27, 2022.
Hirano's roommate Akira Kagiura makes an appearance in the episode. Nobunaga Shimazaki reprises this role from an earlier drama CD.
Shinji Ishihara directed the anime at Studio DEEN. Takahiro Ueno was the assistant director. Yoshiko Nakamura was in charge of series composition. Maki Fujii designed the characters.

The Sasaki and Miyano stage play is written and directed by Naohiro Ise, and stars Shuji Kikuchi as Shumei Sasaki and Ryohei Takenaka as Yoshikazu Miyano.
The play will run from July 23 - 31, 2022, at the THEATRE1010 venue in Adachi City, Tokyo, Japan.
