Crunchyroll announced during their Anime Expo 2022 Industry Panel that the second season of TV anime adaptation of Rifujin na Magonote's Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation light novel series is set to premiere in 2023, and they will simulcast the season alongside its Japan broadcast.

Eris' OVA episode was shipped with the anime's 4th Blu-ray Disc volume on March 16, 2022.
The first cour of the first season premiered in January 2021, and the second cour premiered on October 3, after being delayed from July.
Manabu Okamoto directed the first season at Studio Bind. EGG FIRM was also credited for production. Kazutaka Sugiyama designed the characters. Yuiko Ōhara produced, wrote, scored, and sang both the opening theme song and the ending theme song for the first half of the series.

The story follows a 34-year-old man who is killed after trying to save someone from getting hit by a car. He soon finds himself reincarnated in a magical world as Rudeus Greyrat, except that he gets his whole life reset, starting as a baby.
With all of his knowledge from his previous life, and a new heaping helping of magical ability, Rudeus quickly becomes a formidable warrior ready for adventure. Oh, and he's still a total pervert.
