The official Twitter account for the TV anime adaptation of Aka Akasaka's Kaguya-sama: Love is War manga has announced that the series next story arc titled "First Kiss wa Owaranai (The First Kiss Never Ends)" will be released in theaters in Japan, and broadcast on TV. This story arc takes place after the anime's third season. The actual format of the series next anime project still hasn't been released.

Season 3 premiered on April 8, 2022. Crunchyroll streamed the series as part of their Spring 2022 season lineup.
The third season's title is, Kaguya-sama: Love is War -Ultra Romantic- (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai -Ultra Romantic-).
