The official Twitter account for the TV anime adaptation of Boichi and Riichirou Inagaki's Dr. Stone manga has announced the title and premiere time frame for the anime's third season at the end of the Dr. STONE Special Episode – RYUSUI.

Dr. Stone Season 3 will be titled, Dr. Stone: New World, with a premiere in Spring 2023.

Dr. STONE Special Episode – RYUSUI premiered on July 10, 2022. Season 3 is set to premiere in 2023.
Shūhei Matsushita (DEEMO Memorial Keys) replaced Shinya Iino to direct the special at returning studio TMS Entertainment. Yuichiro Kido returned as well to write and oversee the series scripts, and Yuko Iwasa returned as the character designer.
