The official website for the new TV anime adaptation for Hiroyuki Takei's Shaman King manga has released the anime's 2nd promotional video. The video previews the opening theme song titled, "Soul salvation" by Megumi Hayashibara.
The ending theme song is titled, "#Bokunoyubisaki" (#My Fingertips), also performed by Megumi Hayashibara.

Joji Furuta is directing the anime at Bridge. Shoji Yonemura is in charge of the series scripts. Satohiko Sano is designing the characters. Yuki Hayashi is composing the music, with King Record as the music producer. Masafumi Mima is the audio director.

The anime will be an adaptation of all 35 volumes of the manga.
The earlier 2001-2002 television anime will be streaming in Japan on Full Anime TV and Bonbon TV.

Yui Horie is reprising her role as X-Laws leader Jeanne and Yūichi Nakamura is newly cast as X-Laws second-in-command Marco.
The anime will premiere on TV Tokyo and its affiliates on April 1, 2021. The anime will also be streamed on Netflix sometime in 2021.
